Event Information

This event is aimed to allow Victorian Taekwondo Athletes to compete in a fun, safe and productive environment. The competition has three primary goals:

• To provide competition practice for all Victorian athletes
• To promote friendship and co-operation within the Victorian Taekwondo community
• To provide a fun, family orientated event catering to athletes of all levels

This competition is run in good faith and expects good sportsmanship and a bullying free environment. ALL Coaches, Parents, Athletes and Spectators must comply with the code of conduct (included within this tournament pack).

THIS EVENT IS A SELECTION EVENT FOR ALL YELLOW, BLUE, RED BELTS WISHING TO GO TO NATIONALS. NO NOVICE DIVISIONS DO NOT QUALIFY FOR NATIONS

To participate, competitors must register between July 3 and July 23rd 2023.

Please note: Online system is automated and entries cannot be processed after this date entries will be capped at 350 competitors – DO NOT ASK

Please note:

• All athletes must be Australian Taekwondo practitioners & Hold a National Athlete Licence - Not sure if you are an AUSTKD member? Please click here to find out
• It is critical that all player registrations be completed by 6pm 23rd of July
• All enquiries MUST be made through coaches and instructors;
• We will not respond to any direct enquiries from parents / athletes or any Facebook messages;
• Photo ID will need to be presented at the weigh in to be eligible to compete.
• Uncontested players may be matched or refunded according to the ATV’s rules;
• Participants claiming refunds must do so in writing at least one week prior to the competition date;
• Refunds WILL NOT include transaction fees.
• Players claiming refunds will not be eligible to enter the Nationals.

• Darebin Community Sports Centre - 875 Plenty Road Darebin 

Registrations Costs:

• $110 per athlete not including transaction fees for all Selection Event Athletes (Yellow, Blue, Red ALL DIVISIONS) - Athletes who receive a refund are NOT eligible for Nationals 2023
• $99 per athlete not including transaction fees (ALL Novice and Youth, Child and Cadet Black Belts) - Athletes are NOT eligible for Nationals 2023.

Spectator's Costs:

• $20 single, $30 Family of two and children under 6; $40 whole family
• Spectators Tickets are Purchased at the door
